APEX Economics (the "Service") | Last Updated: January 28, 2026

1. Service Description

1.1 The Service provides JC Economics tuition support including:

One-on-one or small group tuition sessions (for Premium/Intensive plans)
APEX (Adaptive Personal Economics Expert), an AI-powered learning assistant available 24/7 via Telegram
Study materials, practice questions, and progress tracking

2. Enrollment and Payment

2.1 Registration

Students start with a 3-day free trial
To continue after trial, complete the signup form and make first payment

2.2 Payment Terms

Fees are payable monthly in advance
Payment via PayNow or bank transfer
Late payment (>7 days) may result in suspension of APEX access

2.3 Pricing

Basic: $49/month (self-study AI access)
Premium: $129/month (includes 1 hour private tuition)
Intensive: $199/month (includes 4 hours private tuition)
Rates subject to change with 30 days' notice

3. Scheduling and Cancellations

3.1 Student Cancellations

>48 hours notice: No charge, session rescheduled
24-48 hours notice: 50% charge
<24 hours notice: Full charge, no makeup session

3.2 Tutor Cancellations

If tutor cancels, makeup session provided at no charge or proportional refund offered.

4. APEX AI Tutor Access

4.1 Access

APEX available via Telegram 24/7 during active enrollment period.

4.2 Fair Use

APEX intended for educational support. Abuse (spam, excessive queries intended to overwhelm system) may result in temporary suspension.

4.3 Accuracy

            Important: While APEX strives for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors. Students are encouraged to verify important information during live sessions or with their school teachers.
        

5. Student Responsibilities

Attend scheduled sessions punctually
Complete agreed homework/practice questions
Communicate learning difficulties or concerns promptly
Provide accurate information for assessment purposes

6. Results and Guarantees

            No Guarantee: While the Service aims to improve student performance, academic results depend on multiple factors including student effort, aptitude, and school curriculum. The Service makes no guarantee of specific grades or examination results.
        

7. Termination

7.1 By Student

30 days written notice required. Fees paid for current month non-refundable.

7.2 By Tutor

May terminate immediately for:

Non-payment
Disruptive behavior
Violation of these Terms
Misuse of APEX system

Upon termination, APEX access revoked immediately.

8. Intellectual Property

All lesson materials, notes, and APEX system content remain property of the Service
Students may use materials for personal study only
Redistribution or commercial use prohibited

9. Liability

Limitation: Service liability limited to fees paid in the month the issue occurred
Technical Issues: Not liable for temporary APEX downtime due to technical failures, provided reasonable efforts made to restore service
Third-Party Services: Not liable for Telegram or other third-party platform issues affecting APEX access

10. Privacy and Data Protection

Student data handled according to our Privacy Policy and Singapore Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).

11. Disputes

Good faith efforts made to resolve disputes amicably
Disputes governed by laws of Singapore

12. Amendments

These Terms may be updated. Students notified via email/Telegram. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
